CSX Yn3 Paint Schemes

Yn3 paint for all CSX locomotives!

This mod provides Yn3 painted variants of all 4 CSX locomotives currently in Train Sim World. That's a Yn3 AC4400CW, SD40-2, GP38-2, and GP40-2. These repaints will replace the stock Yn3b paint jobs.

Version 1.1 includes a small fix to the SD40-2 texture. I messed up some of the decals without realizing it.

Original textures made by DTG. Modified by pschlik. Help from folks like Syz0th and Yuri! <3

Contents:

TS2Prototype-AC4400CW_Yn3.pak (mod for AC4400CW)

TS2Prototype-GP38-2_Yn3.pak (mod for GP38-2)

TS2Prototype-GP40-2_Yn3.pak (mod for GP40-2) REQUIRES CSX GP40-2 DLC (https://store.steampowered.com/app/577359/)

TS2Prototype-SD40-2_Yn3.pak (mod for SD40-2)

How to Install:

1. Extract the included .zip file to an accessible location.

2. Locate your Train Sim World "DLC" folder.

You can usually find this folder under Steam\steamapps\common\Train Sim World\WindowsNoEditor\TS2Prototype\Content\DLC. If you have no DLC folder, just create a DLC folder on your own.

3. Each locomotive has its own mod, so you don't need to install all 4 repaints at once. Copy each .pak file named after the locomotive you would like to see in Yn3 paint.

NOTE: It is not recommended to install the GP38-2 repaint if you own NEC: New York. NEC: New York comes with a Yn3 GP38-2 already.

NOTE: It is not recommended to install the GP40-2 repaint if you do not own the CSX GP40-2 DLC.

4. Paste the .pak files you copied into the DLC folder.

5. Start up TSW, select the "Yn3b" paint job on one of the modded locomotives, and drive off in Yn3 style.

6. Enjoy! And take plenty of pictures!

How to Uninstall:

If you feel the need to bring back the Yn3b paint job for a particular locomotive, simply remove the .pak file named after that locomotive from the DLC folder.

Please don't reupload to other sites! Ask me if you'd like to see this mod posted on other websites. I'm not hard to find.

And, as usual, if this breaks anything, it's not my fault.
